On February 27, 2008, the U.S. Treasury Department Office of Financial Education, Citi's Office of Financial Education, the University of Missouri - St. Louis, and the Jump$tart Coalition announced the revised and reprinted Money Math: Lessons for Life (2008) at a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. Money Math consists of four lesson plans designed to teach middle-school math students about personal finance.
The book was authored by UMSL and will be distributed by the Treasury Department. The 2008 reprint was generously sponsored by Citi. Jump$tart, as you know, does not publish materials of its own, but we were proud to be a collaborator in this effort. The President's Advisory Council on Financial Literacy also supports this product. http://www.treas.gov/press/releases/hp843.htm.
